The Used Vehicle Acquisition Specialist at Rockville Audi plays a vital role in the dealership by actively engaging with current vehicle owners to assess, appraise, and present competitive offers for their vehicles. The primary objective is to procure quality used vehicles from a diverse range of sources for resale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage and communicate with current used vehicle owners to facilitate vehicle purchases.
Approach and interact with dealership customers to appraise their vehicles and provide purchase offers.
Leverage the Sonic Automotive automated inventory management system for efficient operations.
Stay informed about market trends and shifts within the geographic area.
Support dealership Sales Associates in their efforts to acquire used vehicles.
Conduct thorough appraisals of used vehicles.
Participate in daily trade walks.
Demonstrate unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing retail automotive sales.
Set personal income targets that align with dealership productivity standards, devising strategies to achieve them.
Attend training sessions on products and sales as required by management.
Keep updated on new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
Educate customers on vehicle equity, values, and depreciation.
Facilitate introductions between customers and sales department personnel for new vehicle purchases following the sale of their existing vehicles.
Maintain a follow-up system that fosters repeat and referral business while enhancing customer satisfaction.
Develop a prospecting system for current used vehicle leads and schedule appointments for acquisition.
Attend sales meetings regularly.
Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a professional appearance.
