Join Our Team as a Vehicle Test Driver!
Applus IDIADA is on the lookout for skilled Driver Operators to enhance our team. The perfect candidate will have a strong technical background and a solid understanding of the automotive sector and its products. As a Vehicle Test Driver, you will be responsible for collecting data according to client specifications across North America, ensuring that observations are meticulously documented using our Data Acquisition system.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Executing a variety of driving tasks on vehicles aligned with customer requirements.
- Operating vehicles across designated routes that involve diverse terrains and weather conditions.
- Conducting pre-shift inspections and checks on vehicles before and after each driving session.
- Managing data acquisition systems to guarantee precise data collection.
- Adhering to safe driving practices and complying with traffic regulations.
- Following directives provided by the project manager.
- Completing daily reports and additional reports as requested by the program manager.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all documentation.
- Assisting in data acquisition and applying appropriate tagging techniques to record objects, obstacles, and anomalies identified during data collection.
