Role Overview:
The Vendor Manager plays a critical role at Roofstock in establishing and maintaining productive partnerships with third-party maintenance vendors across our portfolio of single-family homes. This position involves developing and managing a comprehensive vendor network to meet our requirements for Repairs and Maintenance (R&M), Turn, and Renovation services. The Vendor Manager will not only oversee operational necessities but also focus on performance optimization against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). We seek a strategic, data-oriented individual with a solid track record in vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with third-party maintenance vendors.
- Develop and manage a vendor network that fulfills R&M, Turn, and Renovation operational requirements.
- Enhance vendor performance against defined KPIs while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Promote the adoption of the vendor portal.
- Utilize reporting and analytics to make informed decisions that improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct site visits to assess vendor quality, build relationships, and evaluate potential vendors.
- Provide regular performance feedback to the vendor network on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Identify sourcing gaps, prioritize needs, and recruit vendors accordingly.
