ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Venue Account Executive for New Business, your primary objective will be to achieve monthly sales targets by connecting with wedding professionals in our Venue and Catering sectors across diverse regions in Canada. Through a consultative sales approach and a high volume of cold calls, you will establish strong relationships with business owners, advising them on best practices and keeping them informed on technology and industry trends through The WeddingWire’s advertising platform. Successful candidates will be self-driven, highly motivated, and adept at reaching monthly sales objectives. You will excel at forging connections, building rapport with business owners and decision-makers, and understanding their unique goals and needs.
This position requires prior sales experience and the ability to manage an extended sales cycle and pipeline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct a high volume of sales calls daily.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue targets and daily activity goals.
- Effectively manage a sales pipeline from inception to closure.
- Identify decision-makers and navigate a complex sales process.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with potential clients to identify their needs and deliver concise presentations.
- Demonstrate persistence by following up with prospects to negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to maximize profits.
- Organize your workday and proactively manage your time.
- Document all interactions and maintain an updated pipeline in Salesforce.
- Close new business deals for the company.
