YOUR ROLE
As a Veterinary Nursing Trainer, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the growth and development of our team. Your responsibilities will involve coaching with empathy, fostering skill-building, and enhancing confidence and career trajectories within emergency medicine. Whether mentoring staff on the hospital floor, facilitating peer-led training sessions, or developing educational resources, your influence will resonate throughout the facility. You will customize your training approach to accommodate diverse learning styles, celebrate achievements, and support all VEGgies eager to advance in their careers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with leadership to assess individual and team training requirements.
- Evaluate assistants and credentialed technicians through observation and immersive experiences.
- Promote professional growth through VEG’s Cultivate program.
- Implement training initiatives and serve as the primary training leader at your hospital.
- Balance hands-on mentoring with strategic educational development.
- Deliver customized, practical training tailored to various learning styles and skill levels.
- Facilitate peer training opportunities to cultivate a robust mentoring culture.
- Partner with nursing managers and professional networks to extend your impact.
- Develop and enhance educational materials to support ongoing training efforts.
