The VP, Group Account Director serves as the business lead for our agency team, managing all aspects of assigned client accounts. This role is pivotal in executing the client’s vision and aligning resources effectively to meet that vision. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure exceptional work and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Possess deep knowledge of client business challenges, industry dynamics, competitor landscape, and brand positioning.
- Remain attuned to the evolving needs of clients.
- Communicate effectively with senior and executive-level clients, establishing credibility and trust.
- Project Management:
- Passionately advocate for, grow, and manage key accounts.
- Collaborate on and present innovative marketing communication strategies.
- Ensure that plans are both strategic and creative.
- Provide valuable insights during creative concept reviews for significant campaigns, anticipating client reactions.
- Participate in pitching creative work for major campaigns.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels, ensuring client and consumer perspectives are represented.
- Offer insightful feedback on initial drafts of copy/layout for major campaigns.
- Leadership:
- Guide the account team at all development stages to ensure alignment with client expectations and marketing strategy.
- Actively foster the daily development of the account team and collaborate with other departments.
- Encourage team members to explore new ideas and grow professionally.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and provide constructive guidance on career pathways.
