Significance of This Role for Arcadia
Arcadia is establishing a direct-to-Life Sciences sales function as a key growth initiative. The Vice President of Life Sciences Sales will take the lead as our inaugural direct seller, tasked with initiating, developing, and finalizing enterprise partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
This position represents a comprehensive commercial role. You will actively seek new business opportunities, utilize your professional network, conduct senior-level discovery discussions, define and price solutions, negotiate contracts, and collaborate closely with internal teams to guarantee successful project delivery and long-lasting client satisfaction.
This role is tailored for a senior sales professional in life sciences with extensive knowledge in data, analytics, and evidence-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will understand the purchasing process of pharmaceutical organizations throughout the development lifecycle and is eager to establish a book of business, a sales strategy, and ultimately, a sales organization from the ground up.
Defining Success in This Role
In the First 3 Months
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of Arcadia’s Life Sciences data, solutions, operational model, and delivery capabilities.
- Build rapport and establish a productive working relationship with teams in Product, Data, Operations, Delivery, Legal, and Finance.
- Reactivate and cultivate an initial set of qualified leads within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
