As the Vice President of Marketing at vCluster, you will not only oversee our brand but also shape a revolutionary category within the AI infrastructure industry. In this influential role, you will serve as the key storyteller and driving force behind the technology aimed at overcoming the Kubernetes bottleneck. You will have the exceptional opportunity to define how the world’s largest neoclouds, AI factories, and enterprises leverage vCluster to deliver innovative services while expanding our open-source presence and propelling our growth.
Your Responsibilities as VP of Marketing:
Category Creation: Position vCluster as the go-to standard for deploying Kubernetes on AI infrastructure, steering the market away from outdated and inefficient legacy systems and bespoke solutions that fail to scale and are challenging to manage.
Growth Strategy: Propel viral, product-led, and zero-touch adoption for our open-source and free offerings, ensuring that this growing momentum (over 40M downloads) translates into significant AI infrastructure and enterprise opportunities.
Revenue Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales and Product leadership to enhance our annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth and support land-and-expand strategies.
Holistic Ownership: Ensure daily marketing operations—from product marketing to demand generation—are aligned with the broader success of the company and our mission.
Disciplined Innovation: Inspire the team to boldly dismantle traditional marketing strategies to create superior alternatives while maintaining the integrity required for a trusted brand in mission-critical infrastructure.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience: Over 10 years of marketing leadership in the developer tools or infrastructure domain, with a proven history of scaling startups through Series B and beyond.
Data Mastery: A strong background in leveraging quantifiable results—not merely activities—to demonstrate marketing ROI.
Strategic & Opinionated Mindset: You possess deep insights into cloud-native dynamics and are not afraid to challenge the status quo, rather than just following trends.
