As we embark on our next growth phase, we are searching for a Vice President of Membership to design and implement a commercial operating system that drives our expansion—creating a metrics-driven renewal engine and an effective referral system that prioritizes member engagement.
About the Role
In your capacity as the Head of Membership, you will oversee the entire member lifecycle, from the initial interaction through to multi-year renewals, while also building the necessary teams, systems, and processes to ensure a top-tier member experience at scale.
You will lead our commercial operations, encompassing sales, account management, and member success. Understanding that account management is not merely about retention but also a strategic avenue for growth, you will take a holistic approach to the member journey, pinpointing key moments that foster engagement, referrals, and long-term value. With a proven track record of scaling revenue from $15 million to over $50 million, you will balance personalized service with operational efficiency.
This role operates at the crossroads of Sales, Marketing, Product, and the CEO. You will define pricing strategies and packaging, establishing the infrastructure necessary to transform our most engaged members into our most vocal advocates.
What You'll Own
Member Lifecycle & Commercial Strategy
Manage the P&L for acquisition, expansion, and retention. Develop the operational model that scales 3i to 3,000 members while boosting renewal rates to over 90%. Collaborate with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and territory strategies.
Team Leadership & Scaling
Recruit, mentor, and expand a team of 15+ across Sales, Account Management, and Member Success. Create a revenue engine capable of growing from $15 million to over $50 million while sustaining performance and culture. Design compensation frameworks, forecasting guidelines, and tiered account structures to align behaviors with business objectives.
Account Management as Growth Engine
Develop the playbook that converts retention into expansion, referrals, and increased lifetime value. Implement systems to identify upsell opportunities.
