Clearstory is on the hunt for an experienced Vice President of Product to spearhead product execution and influence the evolution of our product strategy as we expand a robust financial workflow platform tailored for the construction industry.
With a solid product-market fit, increasing industry demand, impressive retention and expansion rates, and billions in change orders processed through our platform, your role will be to transform an already effective solution into something extraordinary.
As the VP of Product, you will operate at the crossroads of Product, Engineering, and business strategy. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the executive team, bringing in-depth customer insights, sound product judgment, and operational discipline to translate company vision into actionable product initiatives that deliver consistent results.
You will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and prioritization through to delivery and user adoption, while also building and leading a high-performing product team. Your contributions will directly influence the only business network designed to manage out-of-contract work in construction, encompassing change orders, time and materials tickets, allowances, pricing, and approvals, facilitating the flow of billions of dollars through Clearstory each month and ensuring companies are paid accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Crafting and Implementing a Clear Product Vision
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to refine and operationalize Clearstory’s product strategy.
- Convert customer, market, and business insights into coherent product narratives, briefs, and decision frameworks that foster alignment and necessary trade-offs.
- Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success concerning product vision, priorities, and timelines—from discovery through to release.
Driving Execution with Speed, Quality, and Discipline
- Oversee a systematic, repeatable product development process utilizing AI-assisted workflows for product requirement documents, product briefs, discovery synthesis, and roadmap planning.
- Lead roadmap creation, prioritization, and delivery with clarity, predictability, and measurable outcomes.
- Promote rapid prototyping, validation, and iteration using contemporary tools to minimize cycle time from concept to customer value.
- Work closely with Engineering leadership to perpetually enhance the quality of discovery and execution processes.
