About the Role:
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will collaborate closely with the Division President and senior leadership to spearhead revenue growth and strategic initiatives. We seek a highly motivated individual with a competitive spirit and a knack for strategic and creative thinking. As an accomplished leader, you will inspire your team, excel in closing deals, and drive revenue growth. Your role will encompass hiring, training, and managing the sales team, as well as overseeing sales contracts and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute sales strategies tailored to the local division.
- Recruit, hire, and train the sales personnel.
- Design incentive programs and pricing strategies for various communities.
- Negotiate sales contracts and communicate results to the Division President.
- Work in conjunction with the Corporate Marketing team to launch community promotions, including radio events, grand openings, press releases, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee all traffic and sales reports.
- Establish an outreach program to foster preferred buyer partnerships with select companies.
- Analyze traffic data and propose strategies for enhancement.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations and Project Managers to synchronize build schedules and address any outstanding construction issues.
- Review weekly sales backlog to ensure closings align with projections and resolve any lender or contingency challenges.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of competitors' products, promotions, and incentives.
- Oversee the startup process for new communities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
