About the Role
The Visual Merchandising Manager/Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing impactful visual merchandising initiatives across global retail partners, with a key focus on Sephora and in-person activations. This position merges strong graphic design expertise with practical production knowledge to create premium, brand-aligned retail experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, design, and execute visual merchandising updates for global retail partners, including signage, shelf strips, tables, endcaps, and various in-store touchpoints.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of larger in-person activations and visual merchandising expressions such as windows, towers, pop-ups, and booths.
- Take full ownership of graphic design for visual merchandising assets, ensuring consistent brand representation and creating a strong in-store impact.
- Generate production-ready files with consideration for bleeds, dielines, material selections, finishes, and font sizes that enhance store legibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Brand, Marketing, Sales, Retail) to align visual merchandising concepts with campaign goals and commercial priorities.
- Engage with external vendors and production partners to guarantee technical feasibility, quality execution, and timely delivery.
- Utilize previous Sephora and event/activation experience to adeptly navigate guidelines, timelines, and approval processes (strongly preferred).
- Manage several projects simultaneously while upholding exceptional attention to detail and quality standards.
- Proofread and verify all pricing, copy, and legal text on visual merchandising assets before final release.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in visual merchandising, with a strong portfolio to showcase your past work.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and software.
- Exceptional project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with retail partners, particularly Sephora, is a significant advantage.
