About the Role

As the Visual Merchandising Manager at H&M, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by maintaining high visual standards and ensuring commercial success. Collaborating closely with your store team, you will apply your keen sense of trend awareness to execute visual and commercial strategies that drive sales and elevate the shopping experience. Your leadership will empower and develop a talented Visual Merchandising team, ensuring a robust pipeline of visual merchandising expertise within your store.


A Day in the Life

At H&M, each day presents unique challenges and opportunities. Your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Sales & Profit
  • Enhancing the overall customer experience by thoughtfully following visual and commercial guidelines.
  • Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  • Setting and monitoring store visual and commercial objectives in partnership with the Store Manager and Area Visual Manager.
  • Leading your VM team to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to align with business needs.
  • Executing global campaigns and sales activities in accordance with H&M Brand Standards.
  • Ensuring proper garment care, maintaining stock levels, and providing feedback on inventory allocation.
  • Analyzing sales reports to identify visual and commercial opportunities for improvement.
  • Guiding your team to implement actions aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets in collaboration with Store Management.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational procedures, legal requirements, and best practices across all store areas.


  • Fashion & Trend Awareness
  • Staying ahead of the latest fashion trends, styles, and market influences.
  • Coaching your VM team to allocate time for understanding trends and styling techniques, ultimately enhancing the in-store shopping experience.
