About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes. Your responsibilities will include the precise handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized and hygienic workspaces, verifying product quality, and ensuring that all orders have the correct documentation. Attention to detail, safe material handling, and proactive communication with the production team are essential to meet customer expectations and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping Duties:
- Efficiently package and wrap all products to safeguard them during transit.
- Verify shipping paperwork accuracy using ERP systems to ensure correct quantities and components are dispatched.
- Generate precise bills of lading and keep shipping documentation well-organized.
- Monitor conveyor lines, remove finished units, and load products into trailers or storage areas.
- Inspect products for quality and packaging standards before shipment.
- Stretch wrap and prepare pallets for delivery.
- Track critical daily shipping items and communicate updates to the production team.
- Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse.
- Manage the recycling of materials as required, ensuring compliance with environmental standards while maintaining a tidy workspace.
Receiving Duties:
- Process all incoming shipments, verifying counts and quality against documentation.
- Deliver in-process materials or components to production areas as necessary.
- Conduct visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality.
- Record and maintain precise inventory data.
Material Handling and Inventory Management:
- Conduct spot checks of inventory stock levels and assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
