POSITION SUMMARY
As a Restaurant Hostess, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests at our Food and Beverage outlets. Your role is essential in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere by managing table reservations and ensuring a smooth guest flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, guiding them to their tables
• Handle telephone bookings and keep a well-organized reservation system
• Assist with the set-up of tables and restaurant displays
• Maintain and update the guest database for future reference
• Understand and implement LQA and hotel standards in all guest interactions
• Attend to guest needs and resolve complaints promptly, reporting to the Supervisor/Manager when necessary
• Participate in service training conducted by the outlet Supervisor/Manager to ensure high service standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain accurate food/beverage labels for buffet rotations
• Complete required reports on time and ensure all operational materials are prepared adequately
• Support the service team during peak times in various roles as needed
• Maintain cleanliness at the hostess station and surrounding areas
• Foster good relationships with team members and other departments
• Learn and adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies
• Present checks to guests and assist with cashiering duties when required
• Effectively manage guest flow to optimize turnover rates
• Assist in the periodic inventory of operational equipment
• Train waitstaff and bus staff according to hostess standards
• Ensure readiness of the restaurant for guests prior to opening
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by hotel management
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets during busy periods as needed.
