Your Responsibilities
- Conduct mathematical and economic analyses of market software and power systems application results to validate prices and congestion, assessing optimal solutions concerning market models, incurred costs, and impacts on grid reliability.
- Support the validation and testing processes for market outcomes, addressing disputes or inquiries from market participants, and assisting in evaluating potential solutions.
- Contribute to the design of market operations software, processes, and policies, leveraging your technical expertise in cost optimization technologies and market clearing economic principles.
- Identify and resolve implementation, design, and integration issues within assigned areas, proposing effective solutions as necessary.
- Participate in market design and development initiatives, identifying measures to validate market results and enhance market solution quality.
- Provide analysis and validation support to our Grid Operations Control Room, both remotely and in-person.
