You will also accompany staff on home visits, engage in discussions with parents, and participate in various activities with the youths.
Your Internship, Your Growth
Throughout your internship, you will acquire skills in guiding youths in their daily living situations, both individually and in a group setting. You will act as a mentor for one or more youths, discussing and documenting their progress with all relevant parties.
Additionally, you will work from a systemic theoretical perspective, gaining insight into the risks and responsibilities associated with working with this demographic. You will receive intensive coaching from experienced youth care workers, allowing you to develop and grow in your role and professional identity.
