About the job
Youth Athletes United (YAU) is a premier educational sports program making strides nationwide. We are excited to invite a passionate and energetic youth sports coach to join our vibrant team. As a coach, you will engage with small groups of children across a variety of ages, nurturing their skills, enhancing physical literacy, and fostering teamwork. At YAU, we prioritize positive reinforcement and maintain a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure every child feels confident, no matter their age or skill level. With over 20 years of experience, we offer a top-notch curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
Your role as a coach will be vital in cultivating children's gross motor skills and socialization abilities, positively impacting their lives. Whether through classes, camps, after-school enrichment, birthday parties, or team training, you will help make a difference in the lives of over 100,000 participants each year.
This position is ideal for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stay-at-home parents, nannies, teachers, and anyone with a flexible schedule who is passionate about sports, enjoys working with young children, and wishes to give back to the community! An ideal candidate will have experience in Tennis, Golf, Pickleball, or Football.
Schedules vary, with class times generally set from Monday to Friday, 2 PM - 6 PM, depending on your location. You must have at least 3-4 days of availability during these hours.
Compensation starts at $21 per hour after successfully completing the coach test, with potential increases up to $25 based on experience. Opportunities for advancement to higher coaching levels will be discussed within the first month of employment, contingent on performance.
