As Base Power expands its impact on the future of energy, we seek a skilled Journeyman Electrician who excels in hands-on work. You will be a pivotal presence on-site, engaging in vital tasks such as pulling wire, accessing electrical panels, troubleshooting issues, and setting a high standard through your actions. Your expertise is critical to the success of our battery fleet in Austin, TX.

What You'll Do

  • Hands-On System Diagnostics: Actively troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and battery system failures on-site.

  • Quality & Compliance: Conduct rework to ensure installations meet inspection standards and internal quality metrics.

  • On-Site Authority Representation: Collaborate with inspectors and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) representatives during site visits to resolve issues promptly.

  • Crew Mentorship: Facilitate onboarding and hands-on training for new installation teams, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Expert Oversight: Maintain extensive knowledge of Base Power hardware, National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, and fundamental electrical principles.

  • Emergent Support: Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent electrical issues that arise during nights and weekends.
