About the Position

As we expand our operations, we are in search of a skilled Journeyman Electrician who excels in hands-on work. You will be engaged on-site daily, executing tasks such as pulling wire, troubleshooting electrical systems, and setting an exemplary standard for quality workmanship. Your role is vital in supporting our battery fleet in Austin, TX, and while you will mentor others, your core value lies in your ability to deliver exceptional results through direct engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-On System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and battery systems directly in the field.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform necessary rework to meet internal quality standards and ensure installations pass inspection.
  • On-Site Authority Coordination: Collaborate with inspectors and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) representatives in the field to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Crew Training: Provide practical training for new installation teams to uphold performance excellence.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of Base hardware, National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations, and fundamental electrical principles.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent electrical issues during nights and weekends.
