About the Role

Base is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician who excels in hands-on work. You will be actively engaged in field operations, installing wiring, troubleshooting issues, and setting exemplary standards through your actions. As the technical cornerstone of our DFW battery fleet, your role involves leading by doing and ensuring tasks are executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-On System Diagnostics: Proficiently troubleshoot and rectify complex electrical and battery system malfunctions on-site.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Conduct rework to guarantee installations meet inspection standards and adhere to internal quality measures.
  • On-Site Authority Representation: Collaborate with inspectors and AHJs in the field, accompany them on installations, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Crew Mentorship: Facilitate onboarding and provide hands-on training to new installation teams to sustain high performance levels.
  • Expert Oversight: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Base hardware, NEC Codes, and general electrical principles.
  • Emergent Support: Engage in a scheduled on-call rotation to address urgent electrical matters during nights and weekends.
