Key Responsibilities

Execute the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and switchgears across a range of voltage levels (500kV to 13.8kV).
Assist with the installation of structural steel and underground utilities.
Operate various construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, manlifts, and zoombooms.
Promote and adhere to Rising Edge Group’s Health and Safety Manual and industry safety standards.
Guide and mentor Electrician Apprentices, aiding their technical problem-solving and adherence to safe work practices.
Conduct inspections and testing of high voltage equipment to ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
Lead the planning and installation of ground grids, power system assemblies, and wiring.

Location & Travel Requirements

Rising Edge Group is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with projects across the United States, from Virginia to New Mexico. Candidates must be adaptable to travel to various states where projects are located.

Schedule & Compensation

This position operates on a 6 days on / 1 day off schedule. A Living Out Allowance (LOA) is provided for all days worked, varying based on project specifics.

Role OverviewAs a pivotal member of our construction team, the Construction Superintendent will report directly to the Operations Manager. This role involves the management and supervision of all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, effectively, and within budgetary constraints. The Superintendent will lead the on-site crew and act as the primary liaison among the Project Manager, subcontractors, and clients. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee construction activities at the job site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality requirements.Ensure timely completion and submission of crew timesheets on a daily basis.Serve as the main point of contact between the company and the client.Lead by example in implementing and enforcing the company’s on-site safety policies and procedures, documenting and reporting all incidents to the Safety Manager.Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to optimize resource utilization and meet project deadlines.Uphold the quality of workmanship in accordance with design documents.Mentor and motivate on-site crew members to foster a culture of safety and compliance with company policies.Engage with the project manager and client to address and resolve all RFIs and COs.Assist in internal and external audits and inspections.Accountability for crew performance and adherence to safety standards.Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of craft employees.
