Position: Engineer I
Reporting To: Product Team Member
Supervisory Role: Designer / Drafter
Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties include:
- Designing and specifying Subsea Exploration and Production (E&P) equipment within the assigned product domain.
- Gaining proficiency in ABCO’s equipment design philosophy and technology.
- Conducting quality checks and verifying the work of peers and subordinates.
- Documenting testing requirements, troubleshooting findings, and other essential documentation.
Work Activities:
To fulfill these responsibilities, the Engineer I will:
- Create design Scope of Work documents for client approval.
- Plan work scope activities and update data in management control software.
- Prepare design qualification documents including reports, test procedures, and summaries.
- Develop specialized skills in engineering areas identified by management.
- Encourage colleagues to explore new technological advancements that benefit the company.
- Engage in professional societies and organizations.
- Collaborate as a team member within the designated product group.
- Foster ongoing personal and professional development.
