Experience:Hands-on experience with laboratory technologies, testing environments, or test automation systems. Prior exposure to R&D laboratories or product testing settings is highly advantageous. Know-how:Proficient understanding of automation concepts and testing specifications. Familiarity with programming and engineering tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Git, or Jira. Experience with test rigs, data acquisition systems, or automation interfaces is a plus. Languages:Proficient communication skills in English. Working Style:A structured and analytical approach to tasks. Able to perform efficiently in a dynamic team environment.

Your role in shaping the future:

As a Lab Testing Technologies Engineer, you will be instrumental in pioneering the next generation of residential heat pump systems. Your efforts will focus on the deployment of standardized testing technologies and automation solutions across various laboratory sites, enhancing the efficacy and reliability of product validation processes.

Joining a dynamic and cross-functional product development team in Aveiro, you will ensure high-caliber testing methodologies that expedite innovation and facilitate successful product launches.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creating and executing automated evaluation techniques and testing instruments to elevate testing efficiency and dependability.
  • Designing and deploying test automation solutions for standardized laboratory assessments across multiple locations.
  • Developing and validating test bench interfaces specifically for heat pump devices and their components.
  • Conducting functional and performance evaluations of heat pump systems and associated components.
  • Interpreting test data and analyzing the operational performance of heat pump units.
  • Generating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including test reports, procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Assisting in the enhancement and upkeep of laboratory apparatus and testing infrastructure.
  • Participating in the specification, configuration, and commissioning of test rigs and laboratory facilities.
  • Tracking the development status of laboratory equipment to assure timely project delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Facilitating communication with suppliers and supporting procurement activities related to laboratory equipment.
