Join our dynamic team at Millennium Health as a Laboratory Technician, where you will play a crucial role in patient testing under the guidance of our experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS). You will be responsible for executing pre-analytical procedures and assisting in analytical processes to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting all test methods approved by CAP and CLIA under CLS supervision.
- Provide training and mentorship to fellow laboratory staff, including Laboratory Technicians and Assistants.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives related to safety, document management, and proficiency testing.
- Support the implementation of new test methods and interact with vendors on special projects.
- Perform instrument maintenance, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to uphold laboratory standards.
- Organize patient specimens for testing and assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adhere to all safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
