Join our team as a Laboratory Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in the testing and analysis of clinical specimens. Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving specimens for testing; assessing specimens and test orders; prioritizing work and batches to ensure optimal turnaround times; identifying and appropriately handling unacceptable or unusual specimens.
Conducting confirmatory tests on client samples, quality control samples, and proficiency testing samples, making precise measurements and calculations.
Evaluating both raw and final data for accuracy; identifying and rectifying errors and unusual results; interpreting findings to generate comprehensive final reports.
Maintaining, calibrating, and cleaning laboratory instruments; performing scheduled maintenance and critical function checks, and troubleshooting any significant instrument performance changes.
Adhering to quality control protocols; monitoring controls for error detection and implementing corrective actions; maintaining detailed laboratory records, maintenance logs, quality control charts, reagent and standard logs, and worksheets.
Engaging in the training and instruction of fellow team members; demonstrating or explaining testing processes and observing others during testing procedures.

- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
