Main responsibilities

Lead design reviews for landscape and public realm elements, including planting, irrigation, grading, street furniture, hardscaping, and open spaces.
Coordinate multiple landscape design packages to maintain quality and consistency across projects.
Define the scope of services for Design Consultants and oversee their deliverables.
Manage landscape-specific outputs such as planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation strategies, and grading designs, ensuring they meet project briefs and requirements.
Verify compliance of land planning and landscape design for sports assets with building codes, City Framework standards, and requirements from sports stakeholders and federations.
Monitor changes to codes and ensure projects adopt new standards as needed.
Collaborate with the Master Development Business unit and City team to align projects with city and district planning codes, standards, and policies.
Work closely with the development team and Centre of Excellence Design Directors to coordinate efforts across all assets.
Oversee the integration of assets citywide to support cohesive planning.
Support sustainability initiatives by working with the sustainability team and following project briefs.
