Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design and develop cutting-edge laser systems capable of producing short-duration, high-energy light pulses. Research, develop, and rigorously test laser components such as cavities, mirrors, and amplifiers to ensure resilience against high-energy pulses. Work in collaboration with optical, electrical, and mechanical engineers to seamlessly integrate laser systems into larger technological frameworks. Engage in R&D to discover innovative technologies and methodologies for enhancing high-energy laser systems. Plan and oversee the manufacturing, installation, and operational phases of laser systems. Establish and enforce quality control measures to guarantee compliance with industry standards and MagLIF specifications. Conduct cost analysis and develop project timelines to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Create technical reports and deliver presentations to effectively communicate design concepts, testing outcomes, and project advancements to both internal and external stakeholders.
