Qualifications

U. S. Citizenship or valid Green Card holder is required due to ITAR and government contract stipulations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical certification or associate degree in electronics is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics assembly within the aerospace or defense sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Proficient understanding of electronic assembly techniques, soldering standards, wire harness fabrication, and component installation. Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting is essential. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical. IPC and/or J-STD certification is highly desirable.

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Aerospace Electronics Assembler where you will spearhead the daily operations of our electronic assembly workforce, ensuring we meet production targets, uphold quality standards, and adhere to strict delivery schedules.

  • Guide and supervise the electronic assemblers, promoting a collaborative environment focused on achieving optimal results.

  • Decode engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and schematics to guarantee precise assembly and installation of aerospace electronic components.

  • Engage in hands-on assembly tasks including soldering, wiring, crimping, and harness fabrication as required.

  • Thoroughly inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, addressing any assembly discrepancies and implementing solutions.

  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members, ensuring adherence to company policies, aerospace regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production planning teams to resolve design modifications, address material shortages, and improve processes.

  • Maintain meticulous records of work performed, including production reports, rework logs, and inspection documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and other relevant aerospace standards.

  • Advocate for and enforce safety protocols, ensuring the proper use of tools and equipment while promoting a clean workspace.
