Qualifications
RequirementsMandatory Technical SkillsOver 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields. In-depth, practical experience with Databricks in a production setting. Expertise in PySpark. Advanced SQL skills (including query optimization, complex joins, CTEs, and window functions). Familiarity with any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics frameworks. Experience in leading the development of production-grade data pipelines. Leadership & Work Style RequirementsDemonstrated experience as a Lead Data Engineer or Technical Lead. Ability to effectively balance team leadership and individual contributions. A solid ownership mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities. Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones. Must be available for meetings and calls during US Pacific Time (PT). Desirable SkillsExperience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture. Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data platforms. Understanding of data governance, lineage, and security best practices. Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
