As a Lead DevOps Engineer at CohereHealth, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and maintain high-availability solutions. Your role will involve deploying and managing tools that support our engineering teams and infrastructure, while also mentoring junior engineers in DevOps best practices. You will play a vital role in ensuring that we uphold a rigorous approach to healthcare security. Candidates should have substantial experience in various DevOps capabilities, including log aggregation, CI/CD, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, and Puppet is essential. We are looking for a passionate individual dedicated to building high-quality products, with strong technical skills in Linux system administration, networking, application deployment, and maintenance, as well as proficiency in at least one scripting language and monitoring systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Cohere engineers to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions.
- Implement and maintain tools for monitoring and alerting, CI/CD, and version control.
- Automate the compilation, testing, packaging, and release processes of our software platform.
- Coach engineers on DevOps best practices and tools.
- Continuously assess, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Participate actively in maintaining a disciplined approach to healthcare security.
- Work with management to develop and execute the DevOps roadmap.
- Partner with management to optimize cloud infrastructure costs.
- Conduct quarterly disaster recovery exercises.
