Role Overview
Nice Ltd. is expanding its Build and Deploy team in Manila, Philippines. The Lead DevOps Engineer for Customer Experience will manage CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release automation to help engineering teams deliver reliable software. This role works closely with engineers worldwide in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for multiple products and environments.
- Promote software-defined infrastructure and automation practices throughout the company.
- Guide complex build, release, and deployment processes involving several teams and systems.
- Set up and maintain automated quality gates, release standards, deployment controls, and compliance checks within pipelines.
- Work with engineering, QA, operations, security, and architecture teams to improve delivery speed, quality, and reliability.
- Define and promote best practices for branching, code promotion, environment management, and release orchestration.
- Spot opportunities to enhance scalability, resilience, efficiency, and developer experience through automation and process improvements.
- Research, prototype, and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to advance DevOps capabilities.
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and upgrades for source control, build, pipeline, and deployment systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues in pipelines, deployments, and related tooling.
- Support critical release activities, including occasional after-hours work for scheduled releases or urgent incidents, coordinated with the team in advance.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical direction, and serve as a subject matter expert in DevOps and release engineering.
- Help shape cross-team planning to ensure DevOps initiatives align with broader engineering objectives.
