The Lead DevOps Engineer will establish technical standards, mentor the team, and ensure operations remain secure, scalable, and cost-effective across cloud environments.

What you will do

Define and oversee the architecture and governance of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including AKS, networking, and data services.
Lead strategy for cross-cloud environments, ensuring consistent integration between Azure and AWS.
Set the roadmap for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by establishing Terraform standards and reusable modules for the engineering team.
Architect and enforce best practices for cloud security, networking, and governance, with a strong focus on cost optimization at scale.
Own the tenant onboarding framework and automation strategy, and mentor junior engineers in scripting and cloud deployment.
Set standards for containerization and orchestration using Docker and AKS, and validate toolchains such as Helm, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
Design and optimize CI/CD architecture, building reliable and scalable pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Lead implementation of advanced deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary) and define reliability metrics to minimize operational risk.
Provide technical leadership and conduct code reviews for automation scripts in Python and PowerShell/Bash to maintain high provisioning standards.
Act as the main technical contact for the distributed team, influencing development processes and guiding sprint planning.
Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents, offering expert support during on-call rotations to maintain 24/7 system availability.
