Join our dynamic team as a Lead Document Controller specializing in Aconex, where you will be pivotal in managing the document flow for engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing, tracking, and controlling all project documentation in line with our organizational standards and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the document control system, ensuring precise tracking, archiving, and retrieval of project-related documents.
- Establish and implement document control procedures that comply with company standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate the circulation of engineering drawings, submittals, specifications, RFIs, and other essential documents among various project stakeholders.
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before distribution.
- Provide training and support to team members regarding document control processes and systems.
- Act as the primary liaison for document control inquiries within the project.
- Ensure the timely distribution and acknowledgment of controlled documents to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate comprehensive document control reports and monitor document status throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective handling of documentation.
