What We're Seeking:

Nexamp is expanding its Electrical Engineering team and is in search of a Lead Electrical Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design review of photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems (ESS) projects, lending your technical knowledge to the interconnection, construction, and commissioning of distributed energy resources (DERs). We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with substantial experience in electrical infrastructure up to 345kV, a comprehensive understanding of protective relaying and controls, and familiarity with national codes such as NEC and NESC. You will collaborate closely with our Director of Electrical Engineering on departmental initiatives and process enhancements.

This position is ideally suited for hybrid work from our Boston, Chicago, or DC offices, though we can accommodate remote work as required. You will report directly to the Director of Electrical Engineering.
