About Us
At Careers Activate Talent, we are developing an AI-driven Marketing Intelligence Layer tailored for Shopify brands, currently offered through a Fractional CMO model. We specialize in collaborating with direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands across various sectors including supplements, skincare, wellness, functional foods, athleisure, and fitness, typically generating between $2M and $15M in annual revenue.
Our mission is to enhance customer journeys, improve retention, lifetime value (LTV), and profitability for our clients. We are now in the process of transforming our expertise into an innovative SaaS product.
As our inaugural Lead Generation Specialist / SDR, you will partner closely with the founder to cultivate opportunities with high-potential brands that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
Business Type: DTC / B2C e-commerce brands
Platform: Shopify (mandatory); familiarity with Klaviyo or similar retention tools preferred
Revenue Range: $2M–$15M USD annually
Geographic Focus: Primarily the USA (with a focus on Austin, Atlanta, Boston) and Toronto (bonus)

Primary Use Case:
Target brands investing in paid media, email/SMS, and lifecycle marketing, seeking to enhance retention, LTV, and overall marketing profitability.
Role Summary:
You will take charge of the top of the sales funnel by sourcing, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with Shopify brands that fit our ICP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research to identify ideal prospects
- Developing and executing outbound outreach sequences (via email and LinkedIn; cold calling is optional)
- Arranging qualified meetings with Founders and CMOs
- Continuously refining messaging, targeting, and performance metrics
This role is strictly outbound; you will need to establish a pipeline from the ground up.
