As a Supervising Mechanical Engineer, you will take on the role of Engineer of Record for dedicated projects, leading and supervising coordination meetings. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff members in their tasks, participating in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. Additional responsibilities include:Conducting periodic, objective, and comprehensive employee evaluations. Serving as the Engineer of Record on dedicated projects. Supporting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in technical training and mentoring of staff. Coordinating and assigning various engineering projects (e.g., system design and project engineering). Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. Managing Construction Administrative tasks, such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing Bulletins and Addenda, etc. (Project Management). Collaborating with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices and monitoring accounts receivable to expedite client payments. Ensuring all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, and owners is well-managed.
