Soho House & Co is hiring a Lead Product Data Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London. This position sits within Soho Home and focuses on managing and governing product data to build a reliable, centralized data repository. The role supports the company’s move to a data lake and enhanced reporting, with a particular emphasis on preparing the business for Power BI adoption. Reporting to the Buying & Product Development team, the Lead Product Data Manager will work closely with colleagues across departments to strengthen data foundations and improve processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and uphold a data governance framework, covering standards, naming conventions, hierarchies, and approval workflows.
  • Lead large-scale data cleansing and rationalization for product, supplier, and commercial datasets, focusing on standardization and completeness.
  • Oversee the full process of SKU creation for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Act as the main authority for organizational data, serving as the go-to contact for data-related matters.
  • Design data structures that will form the foundation of future data lake architecture, aiming for efficient, accurate, and scalable workflows.
  • Partner with technology teams to manage data pipelines, integrations, and ensure systems are ready for upcoming changes.
  • Shape the strategy for the Power BI data model, focusing on reliable and scalable reporting outputs.
  • Approve all data changes, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Spot risks such as duplication, inconsistency, and gaps, and put controls in place to address them.
