Role Overview

The Lead Radio Access Network (RAN) Planning role at Jazz shapes the company’s network strategy, focusing on strong performance, reliable capacity, and wide coverage to support business objectives. This position works closely with both internal teams and external partners to guide projects in network expansion, optimization, and technology upgrades. The Lead reports to the Manager of RAN Planning and plays a key part in deploying and improving Jazz’s mobile network infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute RAN planning strategies to ensure strong network coverage, capacity, and quality of service.
Create and manage spectrum strategies, including frequency planning, allocation, and refarming.
Oversee the design and rollout of new sites, capacity upgrades, and technology enhancements.
Collaborate with Core, Transmission, Commercial, Finance, and Regulatory teams to align RAN planning with business needs.
