Your Role:
As a Development Lead at 12build, you will act as the hub between technology, your team, and management. You will not only be responsible for creating high-quality software but also play a key role in the growth of your team members and the effectiveness of our projects.
Your focus will revolve around three primary pillars: Leadership & Management, Technical Excellence, and Operational Control.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Mentoring: You will hold weekly one-on-one sessions with your direct reports, coaching them not just in their daily tasks but also mentoring them in personal and professional development.
Team Performance: You will lead operational team meetings and be accountable for the team's effectiveness and efficiency, managing workload and planning.
AI-First Mindset: You will actively engage in developing with AI assistants, agents, and skills. Your enthusiasm for a transition to AI-driven development will help guide your team.
HR & Resource Planning: You will conduct performance reviews, manage HR issues (such as absences and leave), and collaborate with People Ops on HR matters within your team.
Technical Alignment: You will ensure alignment across various teams and ensure compliance and security guidelines are followed.
Product Development: You will closely collaborate with product managers to refine Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and devise technical solutions.
