About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop the backend systems and APIs that drive our core platform. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with our product, data, and frontend teams to design scalable, reliable services that facilitate swift and accurate out-of-network reimbursement for healthcare providers. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the backend architecture of our dynamic healthcare startup.

Your Responsibilities
- Create and sustain backend systems: Design and implement scalable backend services that manage high-throughput data workflows and enable real-time decision-making.
- Develop resilient APIs: Construct secure, high-performance APIs that power our platform and integrate seamlessly with both internal and external systems.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with Product to deliver features from inception to launch. Translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions that yield tangible business results.
- Shape our architecture: Influence decisions regarding system design, performance optimization, and scalability. Establish patterns and best practices for our expanding engineering team.
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle: From design and implementation to testing, deployment, and post-release support , you will guide your projects from start to finish.
