Your Role: As a Lead Software Engineer at Reaktor, you will navigate the entire software development lifecycle, empower your team to excel, and drive impactful results.
Your Daily Responsibilities Include:
Acting as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring delivery quality.
Collaborating with the client's technical and business teams to foster effective communication and guarantee high-quality outcomes.
Implementing new features involving modifications to front-end applications, back-end servers, and databases, while understanding necessary infrastructural support.
Enhancing team workflows by encouraging optimal processes and balancing work-life dynamics among team members.
Cultivating strong client relationships to facilitate ongoing collaboration.
Guiding your team in adopting agile methodologies seamlessly.
Your Profile: You are a seasoned developer who thrives on technical challenges and excels at providing clarity in uncertain situations.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
Extensive experience across various domains (back-end, front-end, and operations). Typically, a minimum of eight years of relevant experience is desired.
A strong grasp of agile project management principles.
Prior experience in both team leadership and consulting roles.
Proven ability to engage with multiple client stakeholders to address complex issues.
Familiarity with at least one popular server-side programming language. Currently, many of our projects utilize TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js; however, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Clojure, and Python are also in our technology stack.
Strong proficiency in at least one client-side language and framework, with TypeScript/JavaScript and React commonly used for web apps, and Swift, Java, Scala, Kotlin, or React Native for mobile applications.
Relevant skills to create new backend services and refine CI/CD pipelines as project needs dictate.
Knowledge of databases, such as PostgreSQL.
