About Médecins Sans Frontières WaCA
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization founded in 1971. Teams across the globe provide emergency medical care to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or barriers to healthcare. MSF’s work is guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence, and neutrality.
MSF WaCA (West and Central Africa), established in 2019, is the first MSF headquarters based in Africa. This office reflects a renewed commitment to expanding access to healthcare, responding quickly to crises, and strengthening medical support for vulnerable populations worldwide.
