As the company grows, Proof is looking for detail-oriented professionals to help support its expanding operations in San Antonio.
Role overview
The Legal Document Specialist plays a key role in supporting law firms with process serving and document delivery. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. The work involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external clients in a busy office environment.
What you will do
- Review and process legal documents, checking for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and update case information, including opening and closing files
- Prepare, scan, image, and upload legal documents for clients
- Keep digital records and case files organized
- Communicate with law firms, clients, and contract process servers about case updates
- Make collection calls for overdue balances as needed
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Support general administrative and clerical tasks to keep office operations running smoothly
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of office or administrative experience preferred
- Comfort with basic computer systems and office software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong typing skills and attention to data entry accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Professional attitude when working with clients and legal professionals
