Join our team as a Level 3 MTM Support Specialist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional first-shift support (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday). This position requires a diverse skill set encompassing intermediate to advanced technical expertise in end-user services, including client hardware, application support, and printer management. You will also manage vendor relations and support network and server infrastructure environments. Success in this role demands strong interpersonal and troubleshooting abilities, along with the capacity to work independently while adhering to established procedures. Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend support may be necessary during emergency call-outs and project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills in providing client hardware support primarily within a Windows OS environment, covering various hardware types such as laptops, desktops, monitors, printers (including Canon multi-function, HP laser, Lexmark dot matrix, and Zebra label printers), Cisco IP desk phones, smartphones, tablets (iOS and Windows), scanners, and handheld two-way radios.
- Manage ticket queues effectively for incident resolution and fulfillment, coordinate local and regional hardware installations, oversee change management, and perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
- Support server and network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, Windows servers (both physical and virtual), NAS devices, UPS systems, HVAC, and related monitoring services.
- Possess strong knowledge of VMware, Windows Server 2016, Cisco network hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network folder security.
- Configure and install Cisco network switches and routers to facilitate LAN and WAN communications, demonstrating strong troubleshooting capabilities in these areas.
- Design, install, and configure multiple Windows Server platforms to align with Regional IS and local Manufacturing strategic goals.
- Have knowledge of LAN/WAN cabling installation and configuration (copper and fiber), telecommunications (PBX, Voice Gateways, Cisco Call Manager), and video conferencing equipment setup.
