Role Overview: Live Events Engineer (Denver, CO)

Location note: While FuboTV’s headquarters is in New York City, this position is based in Denver, CO.

The Networks team at Fubo is looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in master control playout systems for live event broadcasting. This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and brings creativity, patience, and a drive to deliver reliable, high-quality service.

The Live Events Engineer ensures the dependable operation of live event systems, strengthens the network’s brand, and supports a high-quality video experience for viewers. This position involves frequent work outside standard business hours, including weekends, to support live events.

What You Will Do

Work with various teams to plan and schedule live event playouts.
Provide operational support during live events and assist programming staff as needed.
Perform routine maintenance, which may require overnight shifts.
Oversee multiple live streaming events at once, maintaining a high standard for customer experience.
Lead calls during live events, coordinating production staff, service partners, and support engineers.
Partner with senior engineers to resolve urgent support incidents, focusing on immediate solutions and root cause analysis.
Prepare and present event reports for senior leadership.
Help develop and test operational tools that automate and improve efficiency.
