Join Side as a Localization Specialist (English to Japanese) and contribute to our dynamic global translation operations. We seek talented individuals who possess advanced language skills and a deep understanding of cultural nuances.
In this role, you will expertly translate video game content and interpret associated texts from English to Japanese. You will adhere to product-specific guidelines to maintain the highest quality of linguistic accuracy and compliance with relevant conventions. Collaborating with a dedicated team of language specialists, you will either perform translations or review documentation to ensure excellence in our outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of glossaries and style guides based on client-specific guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of characterisation documents.
- Execute translation tasks in accordance with provided guidelines, including First Party terminology.
- Conduct revisions following established guidelines and instructions, ensuring adherence to First Party terminology.
- Collaborate within a larger team of translators or revisers.
- Offer linguistic feedback on externally conducted work.
- Meet deadlines and productivity standards in line with industry expectations.
