We are seeking a highly qualified Māori language specialist to contribute linguistic richness, cultural insight, and meticulousness to our training data. You will engage with state-of-the-art AI tools, assess and enhance Māori text outputs, and deliver expert evaluations on grammar, syntax, semantics, style, and cultural relevance to elevate model efficacy.
Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing and annotating Māori content, evaluating AI-generated outputs for precision and fluency, identifying and documenting error trends, and collaborating with our team to refine prompts, evaluation strategies, and linguistic guidelines.
Fluency in Māori is essential, accompanied by a proven background in translation, linguistics, language instruction, editing, or related fields. Experience in training, coaching, or linguistic annotation would be advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, cultural awareness, and meticulous attention to detail are vital for success in this role.

We offer a competitive pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the final rate determined based on your experience, skills, and location. Please note that as a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and reliable internet connection; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO are not included.
