Key Responsibilities:
· Execute entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks, including adjusting functional components of machinery and control instruments to maximize operational performance; repair or replace defective parts; restore or refurbish machine tools.
· Identify necessary parts, supplies, and repair items.
· Provide support and backup for team members as required by management.
· Maintain awareness of industry maintenance standards.
· Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
· Engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives focusing on process enhancements, results, and cost savings.
· May involve setting up and operating basic machining equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair tasks. Basic welding tasks may also be required.
· Update maintenance records and review CMMS history.
· Perform fundamental troubleshooting of control systems and circuitry.
· Complete technical self-study programs for professional development.
· Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, regulations, and technical guidelines, while demonstrating situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
