Position Summary: We are on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our maintenance team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our properties operate optimally. The Maintenance Technician will be tasked with conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to guarantee that our facilities are safe, well-kept, and compliant with all local regulations. A strong dedication to quality workmanship and superior customer service is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, focusing on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general carpentry.
Perform regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance requirements and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Respond to maintenance requests from tenants promptly and efficiently resolve issues.
Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs aimed at extending the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
Keep accurate records of work orders, repairs, and inspections, and escalate any significant issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Work collaboratively with fellow maintenance staff and property management to address tenant concerns and enhance overall resident satisfaction.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition, reporting any problems to management.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests outside regular business hours.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field.
Proficient knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
